You will start the first day of our tour by visiting the most famous sites in Aswan. You will be met by our driver who will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to Aswan to visit the picturesque Aswan:
We will start by visiting the High Dam and will visit the artificial lake where the water impounded in front of the dam forms an artificial lake that is 500 kilometres long, with an average width of 12 kilometres, covering the entire Egyptian Nubia and part of the Sudanese Nubia. Egypt and Sudan reached an agreement in 1959 to allocate 18.5 cubic kilometres of water to Sudan.
Then you will move on to Philae Temple to be able to enjoy the monuments of Philae Temple, many buildings dating back to the Ptolemaic era, 332-30 BC, the most prominent of which is the temple started by Ptolemy II Philadelphus, 285-246 BC, which was dedicated to Isis, the mother of Horus, the goddess of kingship, and includes a scene in the Mamizi birth chamber, where the birth of Horus was celebrated, showing Isis breastfeeding her son Horus in the bushes.
Enjoy the location of Philae Temple, the breathtaking view of the Nile from inside the temple and the sun entering the Holy of Holies room, as well as the solidity of the columns that were reassembled during the rescue operation. You will then be transferred to a hotel in Aswan.
